Carol Duchamp, MA, University of Strasbourg, France, is a painter and writer. She was the founder and director of Art Trek which provided travel study painting workshops to exotic destinations including France, Italy, French Polynesia, Bali, and the American Southwest for 35 years.

She has been teaching painting classes in the U.S. and abroad for 25 years. Her teaching style encourages experimentation and self-discovery in a supportive environment that nourishes the intuitive power of self-expression. She trained at JFKU as a Transformative Arts facilitator, and has been showing her watercolor and fluid acrylic paintings in and around the San Francisco Bay area for fifteen years. She currently teaches at her West Marin studio and for College of Marin Community Ed, Pt. Reyes Field Institute, and Art Trek.
